THE FOUNDERS
At the heart of Purpose Driven Youth Ltd are founders Michael and Zoe — two passionate leaders who bring together professional excellence, lived experience, and a shared commitment to helping young people unlock their full potential.
Michael is a creative leader and mentor with a background in Graphic and Media Design, graduating with First-Class Honours, and a semi-professional footballer. His journey has taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities he now instils in the young people he works with. Having returned to his former school to support students as a teaching assistant in the SEN department, Michael has since gone on to tutor across KS2–KS4, specialising in Maths, English, Science and the Arts. His community impact includes years of service as a tutor, youth worker, football coach, mentor, and residential programme lead helping young people develop both character and confidence. As an entrepreneur and skilled handyman, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to preparing young people for real-life challenges.
Zoe is a Big Four–trained Chartered Accountant who built her career through a school leaver programme, offering a unique perspective on achieving success outside of the traditional university route. Alongside her corporate journey, she has consistently dedicated time to investing in young people — from mentoring through EY’s Smart Futures programme and working in SEN education, to volunteering at a South African orphanage and a school in Tanzania. With additional experience in tutoring Maths, founding and managing businesses, Zoe is especially passionate about equipping young people with financial literacy, resilience, and the confidence to navigate life with purpose.
Together, Michael and Zoe are driven by a deep belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed — regardless of background or starting point. Through Purpose Driven Youth, they are creating safe, empowering spaces for young people to grow, make positive choices, and pursue meaningful futures with purpose and direction.
